It was the largest Walk for Animals so far! More than 1,000 animal lovers turned out for the 7th annual event. This popular event grows more successful and more fun each year! Thank you for your participation!
See you next year!
The Seattle Humane Society invites you and your pooch to participate in its 7th annual Walk for the Animals on Sunday, Sept. 27, a fundraiser to save animals' lives. Join the Walk and raise life-saving donations by asking friends and family members to pledge their support.
The Walk for the Animals is a scenic 5K walk that begins at University Village and continues on the Burke Gilman Trail. The Walk is presented by our good friends at KOMO Newsradio, KOMO 4 TV, Laird Norton Tyee and F5.
“By pledging to support our Walk for the Animals, you will help us to save the lives of even more animals this year,” says Brenda Barnette, CEO for the Seattle Humane Society. “Your contribution goes directly to caring for our shelter guests, to funding educational programs, and to spaying and neutering services.”
